Very nice and friendly people. They're trying to restore it's former glory. Kids loved it. Their decorations were really good. They deserve 5 stars for decorating. Inexpensive, too, you should consider donating because prices are so ridiculously low.
We stopped in late - after hours - just needed to sleep and head out early. We didn't have correct change so just left $40 in the registration envelope. Left before hours the next morning and two days after we got home there was a receipt in our mailbox and the $5 we had overpaid. That was super nice of you! Hope to stop in again sometime and stay longer. Thank you!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Camping spaces were pretty large but not private, at least in the center part if the campground. It's a 10 minute drive from downtown St. Joe. I definitely appreciated the clean bathrooms they looked and smelled clean all weekend. We will be repeat customers is we return to St. Joe!
Fun train rides for younger kids. Decorated for Halloween and Christmas. I've never camped there, although I know the campground is open year round and is a popular spot with short term craft folks that come for outages at DC Cook.
Absolutely great CG. Really well kept and a historical area. Very close to great beaches. Rated 4 stars due to trees, preventing sky access and 30amp service at most sites. Cindi is super great to deal with!
